Faith is block outed in hard clock. It is often nerve-racking for wizard to believe in a higher depart when life presents one with so many struggles. In the snowy Night by Elie Wiesel, the author depicts hardship as a test of ones belief. The main character Elie is a Judaic boy who is sent to a concentration encamp handst during World War II. He must survive starvation, torture, and in some way see idols aberration in each of his pain and hardship. Elies suffering is a true test of religion. When Elies dad recites the Kaddish, the supplication of the dead, Elie begins to doubt his faith in graven images world-beater when he says, for the kickoff time, I felt anger rising slope within me. why should I sanctify His adduce? He recalls this event saying, Blessed be Gods ready? Why, but why would I bless him? (Wiesel 67). Elie believes that at that place is no reason to bless God if he allows immorality pack to create death camps such as Auschwitz and Buna. Thousands of his people kick the bucket every day. Elie also does not perceive why the Jewish people still praise Gods name even though God had created the men who founder gassed and tormented the Jews. Throughout the novel, Elie is in search of Gods love in all the evil and hate. When Elies faith is tested and he begins to doubt God, his peers begin to have the same experience. For example, a man next to Elie in the match regards Hitler as a prophet when he says, He s the only one whos kept his promises, all h! is promises, to the Jewish people. (Wiesel 87).
